Rode the bus in Boston lately? If so you may have seen yourself on screen with the newly launched security camera system on MBTA buses, otherwise known as the T buses. The MBTA security camera system is initially being rolled out on a few hundred buses, with plans to outfit the entire T bus fleet and then move forward with installation on the T trains.
Why the security cameras? The three main security reasons for the T’s camera installation are as follows:
